Jexenia Bennett is a Contracting Officer in the United States Air Force, where she has proudly served since graduating from the Air Force Academy in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. She later earned a Master of Science in Acquisition Management from the Florida Institute of Technology. Driven by a passion for helping others and empowering her communities, Jexenia has dedicated herself to service both professionally and personally.
In her Air Force career, Jexenia’s commitment to others is evident in her volunteer work as a victim advocate for the Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Program, as well as her active involvement in organizing base activities for Black History Month, Hispanic Heritage Month, Women’s History Month, and LGBTQI+ Month. Outside of her professional life, Jexenia mentors minority and underprivileged students in her area and regularly volunteers at local food pantries and soup kitchens. She has also served as an admissions consultant for an MBA preparatory program aimed at increasing the representation of minority business students at top business schools.
As an officer of WOL, Jexenia is dedicated to strengthening and developing the cadet and alumni communities, continuing her lifelong mission of making a positive impact.
