Major Jocelyn B. Flores is a Theater Watch Officer at the Joint Operations Center (JOC) in Camp Humphreys, South Korea. In this role, she keeps senior leadership informed of significant events in the Korean Theater of Operations, playing a key part in maintaining peace and readiness in the region.
Commissioned from the Air Force Academy in 2010, Jocelyn started out as an Admissions Advisor. She then flew the C-17 Globemaster III at Travis AFB, completing over 200 combat missions in Iraq and Afghanistan. Jocelyn has held several leadership roles, including RQ-4B Flight Commander and instructor pilot at Beale AFB, as well as Assistant Director of Operations for the 7th Reconnaissance Squadron at the RQ-4 forward operating base at Naval Air Station (NAS) Sigonella, Sicily. She also served as one of the first RQ-4D NATO Hawk instructor pilots for NATO ISR Force Flying Squadron, also at NAS Sigonella.
Jocelyn holds a master’s in International Relations and speaks French, which allowed her to join the Air Force’s Language Enabled Airman Program (LEAP). Through LEAP, she has had the incredible opportunity to travel to Rwanda, Benin, and even Kentucky! When she’s not in uniform, Jocelyn loves to travel and explore new cuisines. She’s also a dedicated family woman, enjoying adventures with her wife and their spirited 4-year-old daughter.
