Joy M. Johnson is a Real Estate Professional. She graduated from the United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) in 2013, earning a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, and later graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 2018 with a Master of Science in Project Management. After graduation, she was selected to work for the USAFA Admissions Office, traveling across the United States in search of diverse and underprivileged students like herself. She continued her career in Anchorage, Alaska at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, and later in South Korea at Kunsan Air Base. She concluded her active-duty career at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, NJ in 2021, and her Guard career at Atlantic City, NJ Air National Guard Base in 2023.
Joy was appointed Vice President of the Way of Life Alumni Group (WOL) nonprofit organization from Fall 2019 to 2022, and in Fall 2022, she was appointed to the WOL Board of Directors. She is dedicated to her community and has been a featured speaker for numerous nonprofit organizations, advocating for the advancement of young women, STEM, minorities, and financial literacy. Her testimony is her compass, and she is committed to guiding others. She resides in Philadelphia, PA.
