Carmilya Jones is the Way of Life (WOL) Group’s treasurer where she manages the finances for the 501c3 organization. A North Carolina native and active duty officer in the United States Space Force, she graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy (USAFA) Preparatory School in 2007 and followed on to obtain a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology from USAFA in 2011. During her time at USAFA, she had the honor of serving as the Way of Life Committee President and as a manager for the women’s volleyball team.

Post graduation, she has served in several roles as a recruiter in the USAFA Admissions Department, missile operator, Global Positioning System operator, executive officer, and engagement strategist. Of most importance, Carmilya is the proud wife of Steve Jones, a 2012 USAFA graduate, and mother to two children, Elijah and Moriah. She believes WOL is a catalytic force in the community and a change agent in USAFA minority enrollment and retention.
